Kayla Christine Hudspeth, 31, of Argyle, Texas, passed away on July 4, 2026.

Kayla was born on November 2, 1994, in Auburn, Washington. She had a kind heart and loved animals more than most people love anything. It didn't matter whether it was her own pet or a stranger's animal that came through her work — every one of them got the same compassion from her. She will be remembered for that tenderness, for her gentle spirit, and for the love she shared with everyone around her.

Kayla is survived by her parents, Lance and Danita Hill, and her father, Charlie Hudspeth; her brothers, David Buenrostro, Hilton Hudspeth, and Tanner Hill and his wife, Sara; her sister, Jordan Hill; her niece, Kenlee; and her nephews, Luca, Ryder, Daxton, and Josiah.

A service celebrating Kayla's life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Street, Denton, Texas.

Kayla will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
