Obituary
Kay Cruze Prewitt, 68, of Denton, passed away October 2, 2007 at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson, Missouri. Kay was born August 30, 1939 in Denton to Delbert T. and Ruth (Morris) Cruze. She is a graduate of Denton High School, and attended Denton Bible Church. She was retired from the University of North Texas, where she was a Data Processor. She was married to Doug Prewitt in Denton on January 5, 1961.
A funeral service will be held at10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2007 in the Chapel of Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr. Denton, with Rev. Jim Hill and Rev. Jack Manes, officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, October 5, 2007. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund, of Denton Bible Church. 2300 E. University Dr. Denton, TX 76209 ……Mrs. Prewitt is survived by her husband, Doug of Denton, daughter, Kimberly Guertler, of Denton, and sons Mark Pannell of Denton and Brian Prewitt of Longmont, CO, a sister Linda Bankston, of Everman, and five grandchildren, Cody Pannell, Katelyn Deaton, Frank Trusty, Kelsey Guertler, Sam Guertler.
