Kathy Louise Harrington, 54, passed away on June 5, 2024 after a long illness.

Kathy was born on February 20, 1970 in Nashua, New Hampshire. She is one of four children to Robert C. Harrington and Juanita M. Harrington, who preceded her in death.

Since 1995, Kathy lived at the Denton State Supported Living Center. There, she was loved and became like family to those devoted caregivers closest to her. For this, the family is forever grateful. Kathy's lively laughter will be missed, but not forgotten. She will be remembered as an affectionate soul who loved head rubs, music, and the colors blue and lilac.

Kathy outlived all predictions about her health and lifespan, and in doing so, touched countless lives, illuminating God's purpose for her precious life. As evidence, one of her caregivers from fifteen years ago came to visit her last year. He'd never forgotten her and she lit up when she saw him, too. We are comforted that she is now fully in God's care, restored and free of limitations.

She is survived by her siblings Robert Harrington and his wife Colleen of Bow, NH; Kimberly Harrington and husband Putt Petrulli of Thousand Oaks, CA; Karen Harrington-Chapman and husband Matt of Plano, TX; and Joel Harrington of Garland, TX.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathy's life will take place on June 18, 2024 at 2:30 at the Denton State Supported Living Center gardens. A burial service will follow the memorial.
