Karl Thomas "Tom" Knight, 40, of Denton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Denton.  He was born August 19, 1968 in Corpus Christi, TX to Bill and Donna (Earls) Knight.  He was married to Kari Cederburg on June 9, 1990 in Jackson, Tennessee.  He was a Graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO with a BA Degree.  At the time of his death Tom was a vice-president at Citibank, NA.  Tom had a passion for coaching.  He volunteered his time over the years to the Denton Area Youth baseball, football and soccer leagues and Upwards Basketball.  He enjoyed singing, especially at the area nursing homes and retirement communities.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.

All who knew Tom are invited to join the family at a funeral service to be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 25, 2009 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Wayne Gooden officiating.  There will be a visitation on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife Kari Knight,  sons Kyle, Adam, and Ryan, all of Denton, parents  Bill and Donna Knight of Corinth, and sisters Kelly Bohnhoff of Loveland Park, OH,  Marla Knight of Garland, and Kristi Knight of Westminster, CO,  and by a host of other family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knight Children's Fund, account 8684650818, at Wells Fargo Bank, 5009 Teasley Lane, Denton, TX 76210.  Questions may be directed to Paul Alusick at 940/891-6584
