Karen Yuvonne Housley Boliver, age 69, passed away peacefully after a short battle with esophageal cancer on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
Karen was born September 6, 1943 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Willard Joe and Ella Marie (Morrow) Housley. She attended school in Lake Dallas and Denton. Karen worked at various places through Triangle Temporaries for many years.
She is survived by 3 sons, Joe Ewing and wife D'Lynn, James Ewing and wife Mary of Denton, TX, Michael Ewing and wife Charlene of San Antonio, TX; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Dianne Thomason of Ardmore, OK. She also has several nieces, nephews, and cousins who were very dear to her. She was preceded in death by her parents.
On Saturday, January 5, 2013, the family will gather in Lowrie Hall at Trinity United Methodist Church 633 Hobson Lane, Denton, TX 76205 from 1pm to 4pm to share some food, fellowship, and celebrate Karen's life. Come share your stories.
