Ethel Justine McGee, 95, a longtime resident of Port Arthur, Texas, went peacefully to be in her heavenly home on September 13, 2018 in Denton, Texas.

She was born to Eda Walter Blanchard on July 23, 1923 in Port Arthur, Texas.

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and married Verlon Vernon McGee in 1948.

She is survived by her son, Keith McGee, and his wife, Kim, of Denton, Texas; grandson, Michael McGee and his wife, Mallory, of Dallas; granddaughter, Katie Harber and her husband, Ian, of Denton and great-grandson, Reddin McGee, of Dallas.

Justine was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, faithful wife, and loving mother.

She enjoyed singing in the choir at North End Baptist and First Baptist Church Port Arthur, painting, and participating in the Y Singles after her husband's death.

Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Groves,Texas on Monday, September 17 at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Denton Music Ministry.
