JULIA ANN (JUDY STUCKEY) GARCIA peacefully passed to heavens doors, on Feb 2, 2017. Born to Elender and Ben Stuckey, on Dec 8, 1940, she was a homemaker to her 5 children and a number of her grandchildren. Julia had a giving heart and would always help those in need to the best of her ability.  Many thanks go to the excellent staff and Dr's at Presbyterian Hospital, who gave her the best of care during her 33 day stay because of an abdominal hernia surgery.

During her life, her arms were always open to those in need. Judy had a giving heart and if there was a need, she strived to always help where she could. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Anthony A "Tony" Garcia, sister Wanda Gene Lynch, brother Benny D. Stuckey (Vietnam), sons Gene Edwin "Poncho" Franks, and Tony Dale Franks and granddaughter Stacie Hall. She is survived by her children, Karen Lynn Vess, and Jerald Wayne Vess of  Krum, Gary Don Franks and wife Pam of Tioga, and Step-Daughter Shelly Dee Chapa, and husband Frank, sister, Margaret Dale Stone, and husband Steve Krum, Mother-in-Law Mary Little, and Brother in- Law, Santos Little, Houston.

Julia's grandchildren are Robert Sanchez, Julia Sanchez, Christy McMillan and husband Elton, Michael Little wife Kasey, Charlie Franks, Benjamin Franks, Nathaniel Vess, Michael Patterson, Jeremy Patterson, and several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

"Judy" is Home now, with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and with her "Tony". She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and all who loved loved her.

Visitation will be Sunday at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home 705 N. Locust Denton, TX from 3-5 pm. There will be a graveside service on Monday February 6, 2017 at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, at 2:00 pm.
