Judy Enlow Gilbert, 73, of Denton, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Gilbert was born on August 6, 1944 in Sanger to William Lewis and Lucille (Williams) Enlow. She was married to Ernest Max Gilbert on June 5, 1965 in Sanger. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a teacher at Ginnings Elementary School in the Denton ISD.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Max Gilbert of Denton; daughters, Julie Denny of Denton, Shari Wilson of Denton; grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Ailaina, Kaelan, Dontay; great grandchildren, Christopher, Kuneli, Jessika, Avery, Alexander. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lewis Enlow.
A visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2018 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Interment will follow at Gribble Springs Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service.
