Judith (Judy) Weiss passed away Tuesday morning May 18, 2021.  The viewing is being held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 10am-5pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home at 705 N. Locust in Denton, Texas.  The funeral service will be held gravesite at Roselawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10am.

Judy was born September 16, 1949 in Flour Bluff, Texas.  She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years of marriage, Gary Weiss, two daughters Christina Price and Hollie Woodham, and five grand children Kaitlyn, Madeline, Samantha, Ella and Jackson.  Judy's parents were Ernest and Cathern Freeman who had eleven other children.  Judy had three brothers (William, Ernie and Frank) and eight sisters (BillieLee, Lois, Sue, Era, Marie, Sharyn, Cindi, Lynn).  She is preceded in dead by her parents, and siblings BillieLee Deutsch, Lois Welch, William Freeman and Ernie Freeman.

Judy graduated college from Our Lady of the Lakes University in August 2000 specializing in Business Administration.  She dedicated her career of thirty years to Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio retiring in 2007.  She made many lifetime friends at Southwest Research Institute that were loyal and always present.  Judy was a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, nana/grandma.  She was a faithful believer in God and fiercely loved her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her creativity, crafting (with more than a touch of glitter), love of fishing and relaxing on the Texas coast and the beautiful wildflowers she always seemed to find.  She had a heart of gold and always took care of others before herself.  She is loved dearly by all who knew her and will be truly missed.  May she rest in peace and we all Give God the Glory in her honor!  We love you Judy.
