Judith Faye Rogers was born February 28, 1940 and left this world for her heavenly reward on May 15, 2014 at the age of 74 years 2 months and 15 days. Judy as she was known, was the third and youngest child born to Albert Kratz and Merle Carson Kratz. Judy was born in Winfield Kansas, however her family moved to Filer Idaho at the age of 5. She attended Filer high school and graduated in 1958.
In 1994, she moved to Denton Texas. She was employment with the city of Flower Mound planning & zoning department. What began as an administrative assistant position soon promoted to a planning technician.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Merle Kratz, one brother Dennis Kratz. She leaves behind to honor her legacy, one sister Bonnie Bacon of Denton TX, son Rodney Rogers and wife Jennifer of Flower Mound TX, daughters Deborah and husband Brandon Flaming of Frisco TX and Beverly and husband Dean Perdue of Argyle TX. She leaves 9 grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held May 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Southmont Baptist Church. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Mission Denton PO Box 52362 Denton, TX 76206.
