Juanita May McMillen Chambers, 94 of Corinth, TX passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Ponder. She was born June 19, 1921 in Carrollton, TX to Frank and Ethel May (Brown) McMillen. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School. She was married to James Carl chambers on June 15, 1946 in Dallas and he passed away on May 10, 1988. She was Co-Owner and operator of Chambers Grocery and Station with her husband in Corinth. She is a member of the Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Her eleven grandchildren were her "Sugars."
Mrs. Chambers is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Richard Hale of Denton, sons David and wife Amelie Chambers of Denton, and Randall and wife Tammy Chambers of Corinth; grandchildren Ryan McCormack, Lindsay McCormack, Patrick Chambers, Matthew Chambers, Jacob Chambers, Ben Chambers, Tommy Chambers, Austin Chambers, Mandy Mangum, Alicia Chambers; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson Jeremy McCormack, and brother J. W. McMillen.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home,705 N. Locust, Denton from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. with a funeral service on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lake Shore Baptist Church on Hundley Dr. in Lake Dallas, Rev.
