Juanita Belcher, 82 of Grapevine, formerly of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at home. She was born April 3, 1931 in Mineola, TX to Floyd and Grace (Whitfield) West. She was married to Haghan Belcher on April 19, 1946 in Denton, and he died April 22, 2002. She was a member of the Baptist Church . She was a beautician and worked with her husband in the cleaning business.
She is survived by two daughters, Jo Pool and husband Bryce of Colleyville, TX and Sue Aiken and husband Mike of Fort Worth, TX, son Jim Belcher of Krum, sister Dorothy Wilkerson of Bowie, TX, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Bob Booth, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11, 2103 for visitation from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M. We thank God for a Mom who was the most talented, generous woman. What an example she was to everyone for her testimony of strength during the last twelve years of her life. She showed us dignity, grace and love.
