Obituary
Joyce Thorpe, our dear Mum, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11th 2011 whilst staying with her youngest son and family in America. She was born October 13, 1926 in Cwmamon, South Wales to Bertie Stanley and Eleanor Sophia (Jones) Wheeler. She was married for over 61 years to her dear husband Thomas Arthur Thorpe who passed away on the 23rd of December 2010.
Joyce is survived by her beloved sons, Kevin of Eastbourne, England and Richard and his wife Juli of Krum, USA, and her cherished grandchildren, Simon, Nathan and Jade.
A memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Friday November 18, 2011 at St David of Whales Episcopal Church, 523 Ector St., Denton, TX 76201, with Cannon H. W. Herrmann, officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to the St. David of Whales Episcopal Church.
