Obituary
Joy Shepard Parsons, age 73, of Lewisville, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2007.
She was born June 26, 1933 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Herman Benjamin Teague and Minnie Belle Stites Teague. Joy married Jesse Shepard on June 16, 1952 in New Mexico.
He preceded her in death on August 1, 1975.
She is survived by three daughters, Roxanna Mills and husband, Chuck of Trophy Club, Texas, Teresa Burnsides of Houston and Sue Howard and husband, Scott of Lewisville; grandchildren, Patsy Mills, Amanda Burnsides, Steven Burnsides, Daniel Holland and Jesse Howard; sister, Hettie Page of Farmington, New Mexico; step-grandchildren,Tasha Howard and Tonya Lancaster and three great step-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Martinez-Smith & Cooper Funeral Home in Kermit, Texas. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
