Josie Marie Priset Altebaumer, 87, of Denton, died Saturday March 3, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.
Mrs. Altebaumer was born on December 12, 1924 in Denton, TX to John Houston and Annie May (Crout) Henry. She graduated from Denton Denton High School. She was married to Ralph Priset in Ft. Worth, he died on June 18, 1976; she married Mike Altebaumer on May 8, 1986 in Denton, he died on June 24, 1999. She was very active at the Denton Senior Center where she loved to dance, she was also a past member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2205.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday March 5, 2012 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday March 6, 2012 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son Wayne Priset and his wife Deberah of Denton; grandchildren, Tim Mills and his fiancé Ariel Martinez, and Tori Hendricks; great-grandson Luke Mills.
