Joseph John Mikelonis, age 52, of Denton, died Friday morning, May 19, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. He was born March 8, 1954, in Frankfort, Germany, the son of Florian Frank and Lucy Helen (Tratnor) Mikelonis. He attended public school In Buffalo, NY and Sacraminto State College, in California, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was married to Diane Parrish on April 10, 1993 in Denton. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was the Owner and Operator of Hardin Properties, Inc. of Denton.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 22, 2006, at 2:30 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Msgr. Charles King,. Officiating. Burial will follow in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, On Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2006 at the funeral home from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Mikelonis, daughter, Michelle Robinson, sons Joseph Mikelonis, and Steve Ward, all of Denton, a sister Nancy Shafer, of Denton, and three brothers, Gary F. Mikelonis, of Arlington, Stephen T. Mikelonis, and Philip Mikelonis, of Boise, Idaho and one Grandchild, Macy Robinson.
