Johnnie R. Reeves, 82, of Denton, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Longmeadow Care Center in Justin. She was born April 27, 1925 in Lumberton, Mississippi to James Lemuel and Sarah Lena (Cox) Reagan. She was married to John Travis Reeves on January 3, 1942 in Denton, and he died on December 13, 2001. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a Homemaker.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 12,2007 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. John Lindsay, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2007. Mrs. Reeves is survived by two daughters, Gale Moran, and husband Raymond, Debbie Loggins, and husband Mike, both of Denton, three grandchildren, Amy Cook and husband Dennis, Ryan Hall and Russell Hall, and four great grandchildren, Sarah Rountree, Alyssa Rountree, Pamela Dannheim, and Reagan Hall.
