Obituary
John Marles Wood, age 74, of Lewisville, Texas passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007. He was born on July 14, 1933 in South Portland, Maine to Perley and Bessie Wood. He attended public school in South Portland, received his AA degree from Portland Junior College, a BS degree from Boston University and a BS (Ed.) degree from the University of North Texas. He was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church, but had recently joined the First Christian Church in Lewisville. He is survived by his wife, Sue Wood of Lewisville; son, Adam Wood of Dallas; brother, Perley Wood of Barnstead, N.H., a niece and two nephews. Memorial services will be held
on December
, 2007 at the First Christian Church. Burial will be at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
