John Phillip Ward, 66, of Denton, died Monday, March 24, 2014 at Denton Regional Medical Center. Mr. Ward was born on July 11, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Daniel and Ruby (Kalsow) Ward. He served in the United States Army and was married to Jerilyn Joswick on July 7, 1990 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Flower Mound. He worked as a compliance officer for Tetra-Pak in Denton for many years. Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Jerilyn Ward of Denton; daughters, Wendy Ward of Colorado Springs, CO, Katherine Scott of Denton; sons, Anthony Ward of Madison, WI, Jeffrey Scott of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Scott of Indianapolis, IN, Daniel Scott of Indianapolis, IN; mother, Ruby Allen of Austin, TX; sister, Sandy Yamane of Austin, Kathy Henry of California, Michelle Carman of Bell Flower, CA, Jessie and Elizabeth.; three grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until service time. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3601 S. Garden Ridge Blvd., Flower Mound. Interment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Memorials may be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
