John Walter Stroh, 87, of Denton, died on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his home in Denton.
Mr. Stroh was born on December 17, 1930 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Clarence and Virginia (Riley) Stroh. He was married to Sheila Lau. He served in the United States Army and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He later married Patricia A. Randolph on November 24, 1974 in Oklahoma City, OK. He retired as the Senior Vice President of Finance after forty-three years at General Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Stroh; daughter, Bernadette Adams and her husband Steve of Fort Smith, AR; sons, John Stroh, Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Michael J. Stroh and his wife Anita of Greenwood, AR. Joey Uptergrove and his wife Adrienne of Aubrey; brother, Robert Stroh of Austin; grandchildren, Leigh, Amanda, Andrea, Belle, Elliott, Jolena; three great-granddaughters; sister-in-law, Nora Belle Eggleston of Aubrey; nieces and nephews, Michael Stroh, Kyle Stroh, Kim New, John Lesko, Kevin Lesko, Ginger Lesko. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Lesko.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time. The Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Deacon Vic Norton will officiate the service.
