John Patrick "Jack" Rowell was born on March 19, 1945, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Joseph William Sr. and Patricia Rowell.  He went to his Lord and Savior on November 25, 2025, at the age of 80 years.

Jack worked and played hard his entire life. He was an avid hunter, hunting all over Texas and Colorado. He also was an avid water and snow skier and scuba diver. He was an excellent mechanic. He worked for Lee Jarmon Ford in Carrollton, Texas for many years. He had a short stint with Ford dealerships in Los Angles, Ca. and Miami, Fl. while vacationing with lifelong friend, Larry Osborne. He opened his own business, "121 Auto Sales" in Lewisville, Texas with his former wife Pamela Rowell. He went on to buying, updating and reselling real estate properties in Lewisville, Texas. His enjoyment in life was working and staying busy.

He is survived by his brothers, Bill Rowell and wife Mary, of Denton, Texas and Jim Rowell and wife Cheryl of Sanger, Texas. His sons, Jody Rowell and wife Kristy of Ladonia, Texas, Jack Rowell Jr. of Waco, Texas and daughter, Denise Dawson of Waco, and former wife, Janice Lowe of Waco, Texas. Grandchildren, Michael Rowell, Kimberly Scoggin, Courtney Dawson, John Wesley Rowell, Amanda Kehler, Lauren Estep Black. Also, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William Sr. and Patricia Rowell, and former wives, Barbara Rowell Slupski, Pamela Knudson and best friend and partner, Karen Spurlock.
