John Daniel Mullens, age 27, was born July 20, 1979 in Lewisville. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 18, 2007. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend.

Danny, as he was known to his friends and family, was a hardworking, caring, generous and humorous man who could light up any room with his vibrant smile and jovial outlook on life. He was larger than this life could hold and his charisma and enthusiasm will live on in everyone he has touched.

In his short time here, Danny has given many happy and uplifting memories to the ones he loved. We know he will light up heaven the same way he lit up earth. He will be dearly missed by his loving family, his wife of seven years, Amanda, daughter, Sarah, age 3, parents, Eddie and Sharon Mullens of Lewisville; brother, Randy Mullens of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, sister, Sarah Mullens of Lewisville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Cheryl Beckett of Flower Mound and by all who knew Danny.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Lewisville Bible Church. Reverend Ken Rogers will officiate the service. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the American Diabetes Association,
