John David Jones, of Lewisville, passed away Saturday, February 27th, 2010 following a long illness. John was born in Montgomery, Alabama to C.V. and Margaret Jones, the first born of seven children. John spent over twenty years in retail store management. After returning to the DFW area in 1991 he continued his career in real estate and corporate relocation.
John is survived by his wife, Lucille and four children, daughters, Jana McConathy, Julie Huettner, Jonette Lingenfelder, step-son, Chris Reynolds; eight grandchildren, Chad, Chase and Katie Reynolds, Tyler and Mason McConathy, Nikki and Kevin Huettner and Ashley Lingenfelder; mother, Margaret Jones; six sisters and brothers, Jeanne, Judy,Joanna,June,Jim and Tom, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Monday, March 1st at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 2pm, Tuesday, at the Lewisville Church of Christ, 901 College Pkwy., Lewisville, Texas 75077. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
