Obituary

John Clayton Galle, 84, of Denton, died Monday, June 7, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home in Denton.

Mr. Galle was born on March 18, 1937 in Abilene, TX to Edgar and Pauline (Pringle) Galle. He was married to Darlene Aldridge in 1957 in Midland, TX. He earned a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. He served as a pilot in the United States Navy for five years and later retired from flying with American Airlines. He was a member of the Singing Oaks Church of Christ and a proud member of The Sons of The Republic of Texas, Former Texas Ranger Association, Cattlemen's Texas Longhorn Association, and the Texas Gun Collectors Association.

John is survived by his wife, Darlene Aldridge Galle of Denton; daughter, Mary Suzanne Galle of Denton; brother, Richard Galle of Texas; granddaughter, Stephanie Gray; great-grandson, Christopher Mates. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Elizabeth Galle.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 14, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton.
