John Carter Foster, 46 of Denton, died on June 28, 2016 in Denton. He was born April 19, 1970 in Tuscon, Arizona to Gary Lee Foster and Carol Lea Maddux Foster. At an early age he began his love for the towing business with his father. He also fought fire for about 19 years and loved it with a passion. John and his parents moved to Lake Dallas, Texas in 1981 to continue his wrecker business, On The Road Again Wrecker Service, of which he later became the owner and operator. A few years later they continued to grow their business in Denton. He and his father built the business from the ground up, starting with one tow truck and continuing to thrive until the day of his passing on June 28, 2016.
John was united in holy matrimony in April of 1995 to Carolyn Jean Litteral. This union was blessed by one child, Caytlin Foster. Their children will continue to grow the legacy left by their fathers and grandfathers. His life will be forever cherished in the lives of his children, Shawn Malone and Caytlin Foster, his step-children Justine Wilson and Alex Wilson; his grandchildren Aidyn Elizabeth Wilson and Averie Jean Canonico; his mother Carol Lea Windham; his current love Randi Grissom, as well as all of his beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Foster is preceded in death by his father Gary, Donnie Maddux, Peggie Maddux, Ralph Foster, Darrell Foster, Deloris Owens, Tommie Maddux, Joan Maddux, Lee Maddux and Elva Foster.
A funeral service will be held a 11 A. M. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton with Rev. Sam Redfearn officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. On line condolences maybe left at www.mulkeymasondenton.com
