In Loving Memory of John Everett

John Ross Everett of Gun Barrell City, Texas, passed away December 12, 2023 at 73. He was born on March 19, 1950 to Johnia Pyszynski Everett and Ralph Pyszynski and later adopted by his step-father Bernie Everett in Denton, Texas.

He worked as a restaurateur, real estate developer and rental business owner. John was passionate about his golf game, football, fishing, travel, his dogs Tootsie and LuLu and family.

John is survived by his loving wife Annette Everett, children Ross Everett and wife Ashley Everett, Collier Hancock and husband Seth Hancock, Brett Everett-Miller and husband Casey Miller, Jodi Cason and husband Chris Cason, Chris Hamilton and wife DeeDee Hamilton, grandchildren Ruby Hancock, Ryder Everett, Guy Hancock, Carter Miller, Cash Miller, Kellen Cason, Cameron Cason, Hayden Cason, and Maddie Hamilton.

John attended Irving High School and after being proudly honored with a full-ride scholarship he played football at the University of North Texas.

Services for John Ross Everett will be held graveside Thursday, May 30, 2024, 1:00 PM at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to the University of North Texas Letterman's Association and the Center for Brain Health Research Center.
