Colonel (Dr.) John A. Chapman, 84, of Denton, TX  died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.   He was born February 27, 1924 in Springfield, IL to Robert R. and Carline (Goldfuss) Chapman.  He was married to Beryl --------------on May 29, 1948 in Okinawa     He was a graduate of the University of St. Louis Dental School, and was a retired Dental Surgeon with the USAAF Dental Service.  He served in both Korea and Vietnam

A memorial service will be held in Hawaii in October 2008

Col. Chapman is survived by his wife, Beryl Chapman, of Denton, daughter,  Stcey Maealivaki,  of Keller,  sons, John A. Chapman, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ  Jeffrey Chapman, of Hawaii,  Scot Chapman, of Linden, New Mexico, and Chris Chapman, of Maui, Hawaii.  Seven Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.
