John Naylor Anderson, formerly of Lewisville, Texas went home to be with Jesus on March 29, 2009. He lost his life as he went to the aid of an accident victim on a Louisiana highway.
John (Johnny) was born on September 28th, 1955 in Bryan, Texas. He was a 1974 graduate of Lewisville High School. He also attended Texas A & M University. While attending Lewisville High School, Johnny was a proud member of the Fighting Farmer Football team that played in the state title game in Austin in 1972.
John was preceded in death by his father Gene Lambert. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Judy, his son John Naylor Anderson, Jr., (J.R.) of Plano, daughter Tamara Louise Davidson of Krum, granddaughters Skyllar Ann Davidson and Brooklyn Faith Davidson of Krum, mother Nancy Anderson of Corinth, father Don Anderson of Denton, brothers Donald Anderson of Coppell, Ronald Anderson of Corinth, sisters Shelley Brantley of Lewisville, Shari Seelye of Celina and Amy Knutson of Frisco and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
John was a wondferful husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle and friend. He is so loved and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, Lewisville. The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, at First Baptist Church, Lewisville. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to any organization of donor's choice.
