Joe Smiley, age 74, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at his home.
He was born May 27, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to Joseph Richard Smiley and Erma Francy Smiley. Joe served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sons, Eric Franson of Lewisville, Eric Smiley of Talmadge, Ohio and Keith Smiley of Coppell, four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Meidlinger and Marion Blanco both of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Robert Smiley of Stow, Ohio and Bill Smiley of Akron, Ohio and his beloved campanion, Iris Webb of Lewisville.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Reverend Paul Sackett will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to
