Joe Howard Hanna, 88, of McAlester, OK, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Mr. Hanna was born on October 27, 1924 in Wagoner, OK to Joe E. and Clara (Walker) Hanna. He was a Baptist and a truck driver for many years. He was married to Billylu Morrow on June 28, 1945 in Sanger, she died on June 6, 1977; he then married Joy Mildred Whitlock on November 15, 1978 in Raymondville, she died on September 12, 2005; he then married Donna Trosper Raliegh on May 13, 2006 in McAlester, OK.
He is survived by his wife Donna Hanna of McAlester, OK; daughters, Helen Giese and her husband Glen of Sanger, Jo Ann Powell and her husband Tony of Fruitvale, Roma Roberts and her husband Richard of Longview; stepdaughter, Glenda Sanders of McAlester, OK; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, February 4, 2013 in the chapel of Mulkey Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Rev. Sam Redfearn will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Sanger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Chris Sunnenberg, Arnold Cisneros, III, Derrick Roberts, Chad Giese, Jay Moussa, David Roberts, Danny Cisneros.
