Jodie Lynn Massey

April 21, 1968 - August 14, 2026

Jodie Lynn Massey, 58, of Justin, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2026.

Jodie was an absolute ray of sunshine. Vibrant, larger than life, and blessed with the biggest heart, she had a way of brightening every room she entered. She always looked for the best in people and had an incredible gift for making everyone around her feel loved, special, and seen.

To know Jodie was to love her. Her smile could light up a room, her energy was contagious, and her kindness and generosity touched countless lives. Whether you had known her for years or had just met her, Jodie had a way of making you feel like you mattered.

Above everything else, Jodie loved her family. She was a deeply loving and caring wife to her husband, Jeff Massey, the love of her life and her best friend. Her children and grandchildren were truly her world, and she never missed an opportunity to proudly talk about each of them.

Jodie is survived by her husband, Jeff Massey; her children, Kylee and Brandon Armstrong, Dran and Michele Crenshaw, Elanee Crenshaw, Kristin and Austin Aune, Cole and Kate Massey, and Brian Massey; and her beloved grandchildren, Braidyn, Lily, Molly, Palmer, Demi, Parker, Billy, Dallas, and Brady.

She is also survived by her siblings, Rick and Keo Geschwend and Teri and Jimmy Monken, along with many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe Geschwend and Carol Geschwend.

Jodie's faith was an important part of her life. She loved listening to sermons and carried that faith into the way she treated others - with kindness, compassion, grace, and an unwavering belief in finding the good in people.

Jodie loved traveling and treasured every adventure she shared with the love of her life, Jeff. From beach trips to family getaways, those journeys were some of her happiest memories because they were spent together and with the people she loved most. She also cherished holidays and family traditions, especially Christmas Cookie Day, Easter egg hunts, and gatherings made brighter because Jodie was at the center of them.

Her family and friends will remember her beautiful smile, her larger-than-life personality, her laughter, her generosity, and most of all the way she made people feel.

Jodie leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, family, and kindness. Her light will continue to shine through the family she adored, the traditions she created, and the countless people whose lives were better because they knew her.

The best way to honor Jodie is to live as she did: love your family deeply, look for the good in others, celebrate life, and always make people feel special.
