Jo Anne Poole, 86, of Murchison, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. Jo Anne was born in Sanford, TX on January 7, 1930 to Allie Mack and Cordie (Box) White. Jo Anne married the love of her life, Bill C. Poole, July 25, 1947 in Greenville, TX; he died on June 28, 2011. They were married for 63 years.

Jo Anne is survived by her daughter, Sherry Sims and her husband, John of Montague; sons, Dan Poole and his wife, Doreen of Murchison and Dean Poole and his wife, Gwen of Austin; sister, Sue Starnes of Austin; brothers, Max White of Lubbock, Ben White of Monahans; six grandchildren, Klint, Byron and his wife, Amanda, Jason and his wife, Chelsea, Eric, Ruby and Kevin; two great grandchildren, Riley and Riley Jean, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Jo Anne will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
