Jimmy R. Willingham, Sr. 70 of Denton, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born January 11, 1938 in Denton to Raymond and Olive (Erwin) Willingham. He attended Denton Public Schools and was a member of the Central Baptist Church. He was the Owner and operator of Jim's Paint and Body Shop. He was married to Jo A. Smith in Gainesville, TX on April 5, 1958.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Central Baptist Church, 2221 N. Carroll Blvd. Denton, with Rev. Paul Shelton, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St. Denton from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2008.
Mr. Willingham is survived by his wife, Jo A. Willingham, daughters Kay West, and Judy Sutherland, sisters, Billie Watson, and Jane Parker, of Denton, and a brother, David Willingham, of Carrollton, five Grandchildren, Josh Lynskey, Sammie Jo West, Amber Griffiths, Levi Griffiths, and KarenWillingham.
