Obituary

Jimmie (Jim) Terrill Wheeler, 80 of Corinth, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home.  He was born November 6, 1938 in Denton, TX to Terrill and Wilma (Atkins) Wheeler.  He grew up in Denton, TX as well as Long Beach, CA.

Jim was a graduate of North Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Journalism.  He was married to the late Jo Ann (Carlton-Creighton) Wheeler on April 9, 1971 in Denton and owned Terrill Wheeler Printing, Inc.  Jim was a member of Denton Bible Church as well as the Denton Noon Rotary Club, of which he was a Paul Harris Fellow.  He was also an avid member of the Greater Denton Arts Council.  Jim was heavily involved with the founding of The Wheeler House in Denton, TX.

Mr. Wheeler is survived by his daughters, Terri Henderson and husband Terry of Lake Dallas, Susan Springer and husband Kraig of Grapevine, and two grandchildren, Erin Beaty and husband Preston of Princeton, and Kelly Springer of Grapevine.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at

Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX with John Preston Beaty officiating. Private burial to follow at Fort Davis, TX.
