Jimmie Chester Morris, 73, of Denton, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mr. Morris was born on March 7, 1942 in Lubbock, TX to Chester and Eugie Mae (Ussery) Morris. He was married to Glynda Joyce Cozart on August 31, 1963 in Celina. He worked for many years as a forklift operator for Trinity Steel.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Glynda Joyce Morris of Denton; sons, Michael Scott Morris of Albuquerque, NM, Gary Clayton Morris of Krum, TX; two sisters; three grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton.
