Jimmie Irene Colville, 87, of Corinth, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1929 in Amarillo, TX to Arthur Reginald and Jimmie Mattie (Lair) Morrison. She was married to W. S. "Bill" Colville on November 23, 1946 in Amarillo, TX She is a member of the First Baptist Church. She and Bill were owner and operators of a Furniture Show Room, which she managed at the World Trade Center in Dallas.
Ms. Colville is survived by her husband Bill Colville of Corinth, two sons, William Arthur Colville and Michael Wayne Colville, and sister Sue Wilson and husband Larry all of Denton, grandchildren Kristen Holcomb, Kara Calhoun, and Matthew Hunter Colville, niece Kelly Calvert, nephews Kirk Wilson and Kyle Wilson.
A visitation is scheduled for 6 P.M; until 8 P.M. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton, TX, with a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St., Denton, with Dr. Jeff Williams, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family requests memorials go to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Kirk Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Atticus Wilson, Michael Holcomb, and Christian Strom.
