Glover
October 10, 1960 – January 14, 2024
Jill Diane Warrington Glover passed into the loving arms of her heavenly Father on January 14, 2024, while surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. Jill was born in Palestine, Texas on October 10, 1960, to Nancy & Forrest Warrington
Growing up, she had a love for horses, dance (was a ballet dancer & was on the Palestine high school drill team, a Kit Kat). She was an avid reader, a published poet, very active in school and church. She played the piano and loved gospel music and hymns.
She attended Stephen F Austin University where she was a DJ for a local radio station, trained as a pilot, and graduated with her master's degree in psychology. Jill's career began with Texas State Mental Health Services in Longview before running her own private practice in Dallas where she specialized in helping women with eating disorders and abuse trauma. Jill also shared her love of Psychology as a professor at Dallas County Community College and as a part-time teacher at Coram Deo Academy.
In 2018, Jill became the State Republican Executive Committeewoman for the Republican Party of Texas representing Senate District 12. In that role, she advocated for voters and the Republican Party platform with grace and tenacity. Jill was instrumental in implementing the Legislative Priorities at the state level as the Legislative Priorities Committee Chair and worked tirelessly with legislators on issues facing Texas. Jill's constant strength and faith bolstered everyone in her presence, and she never missed a chance to encourage those around her. Her mentorship, humor, and love for the Lord will be missed by all those who were blessed to know her.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and Forrest Warrington, and is survived by her loving husband Curtis; son, Nicholas Glover; brothers David and Dennis Warrington.
