Obituary

Jill Dixon Beaty, 58, of Aubrey Texas, transitioned into the next stage of her journey in life on July, 17, 2021 at Medical City Plano.

Jill was born June 14, 1963 in Fort Worth to Forrest and Bobbie Dixon.  Jill is survived by husband Austin Beaty, son Grant Austin Beaty, daughter Audrey Beaty.  Sister Marti and husband Rusty Eason.  Brother in-law Tim Beaty and wife Tesh Beaty.  Father and mother in-law Jack and Mary Lynn Beaty.  One nephew Chad SanJuan, two nieces, Elizabeth Hardowin married to Zach Hardowin and Alexa Beaty. Including two great nephews and one great niece.

Jill attended Castleberry High School and graduated in 1981.  She excelled in all sports including achieving state high jump championship.  She was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, senior class secretary, and finalist to most likely to succeed. Upon her high school graduation, Jill attended the University of North Texas and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting.

Jill was married to Austin Beaty on December 21, 1994 in Denton Texas and December 27, 1994 in Kailua-Kona Hawaii.  They met at work where Austin had just moved back to Texas from Florida.  Jill was changing jobs due to her mom being diagnosed with cancer.  She loved her mom dearly and wanted to have more availability for her.  Austin asked Jill out on her first day at work.  They dated for four years before getting engaged.  Their one-year engagement was purposeful so Jill could include her mom in all the events.  After the wedding, Austin took a wheelbarrow and pushed Jill around the Denton Court House square.  The event was a tradition that his parents and brother had done in years past.  They lived in a rural area near Aubrey, worked in Dallas and traveled on vacations throughout North America.

In October 1999, Jill and Austin invested into a dream with Robert L. Graber and started Austin Lane Technologies, Inc.  Jill was Austin's inspiration and together they walked by faith and not by sight to build a successful technology company.  Today, Austin Lane's software division has some of the largest construction companies in North America as clients.  Their IT division is highly successful as well.

With access to registered Brangus cattle through Austin's family, Jill wanted both kids actively engaged in FFA.  Grant and Audrey proudly represented their school by attending stock shows throughout the state of Texas.  Jill encouraged both to work hard and achieve their Lone Star degrees.  While showing cattle, Grant and Audrey were also active in basketball year-round.  Grant did not grow tall enough, but Audrey did!  Audrey got to share with her mom the accomplishment and the news of a full ride scholarship to Emporia State University in Kansas before her transformation.  Grant attends Oklahoma State University and for the first two semesters has maintained a place on the President's List.

Finally, our family wishes to express our sincere appreciation for the professional care Jill received at Medical City Plano and Texas Oncology.  Austin read in the early morning hours to Jill Psalms 21, 22, and 23. Later Saturday morning she was surrounded by friends and family as her soul went to be with our Lord and Savior.
