Jewel Dean "Jerrie" Beale, 71, of Denton, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at The Atrium Medical Center in Corinth.
Mrs. Beale was born on July 4, 1942 in Hollis, OK to Luther R. and Lucille Lavern (Reed) Sallee. She was married to James Paul Beale, Jr., he died on September 3, 1983. She worked for many years as a Certified Nurse's Aide. She was a member of Amazing Love Ministries.
She is survived by her daughter, Elesa Stinnett of Denton; sons, Kevin Beale and his wife Mary of Ponder, Larry Beale and his wife Sherry of Denton; sisters, Peggy Bowman of Rio Rancho, NM, Velda Black of Azle; brothers, Luther Reed Sallee, Jr. of Ponder, James Sallee of Tyler; eight grandchildren, Erin Fuller, Sarah Wegner, Mark Fortener, Matthew Fortener, Michael Fortener, Jordyn Beale; Candice Beckman and Katie Elrod; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vesta Smith and son-in-law, Vincent Stinnett.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton.
Pallbearers will be Luther Reed Sallee, III, Larry Welborn, Kevin Beale, Larry Beale, Brian Fuller and Roger Wright.
