Jesse Frisbee, age 87, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009, in Flower Mound.

He was born March 15, 1922 in Asheville, North Carolina to Ellis Francis Frisbee and Annie Laura Green Frisbee. Jesse served in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Air Force following 22 years of dedicated service and later retired from the University of Illinois. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church Flower Mound. Jesse was a Thirty Second Degree Mason, and a retired member of IBEW. He married Dorothy Harden on July 2, 1950 in Denver, Colorado. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2005.

Jesse is survived by his daughter, Joan Exum and husband, Mike of Flower Mound; son, Buck Frisbee and wife, Katharine of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren, Kent Exum, Kimberly Jones, Gary Exum, and Craig Exum; four great grandchildren, Keighla Exum, Hunter Exum, Malik Jones and Mercedes Jones; sisters, Dorothy Dobson of Macomb, Michigan and Lucille Conelly of Charleston, West Virginia and brother, Joe Frisbee of Littleton, Colorado.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas. Interment will full military honors will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
