Jesse Carl Barber 85, of Denton, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007. He was born May 12, 1922 in Dutton, OK to William Hershel and Mary Edna (Cross) Barber. He was a Certified Welder and a member of the Cornerstone Fellowship Church. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II in Germany. He was a member of the Denton I.O.O.F. Lodge #82.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church on Hwy. #455 in Bolivar, with Rev. Gary Sweatman, officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Denton, at 10:00 A.M. Monday, The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 21, 2007.
Mr. Barber is survived by his children, Lisa Lemmons and Denley Barber, and Marvin Barber, of Tuttman, CA Carl Lee and Thomas Barber, of Fresno, CA Sisters, Margie Murray, of Shafter, CA Erma Gibson, of Fresno, CA and Doll Robeson, of Moore, OK and his Extended family and Loved Ones, Donna and Bill Park, and Mary Copeland, of Sanger, and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, three Sisters , four brothers, and four Grandchildren.
