Jerry May Holloway Harris, 76, of Justin, went to be with her Lord and Savior April 15, 2017 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. She was the 4th of 7 children in the family of Clarence Wesley and Lila May Holloway. Born November 10, 1940 in Denton, Texas. She attended Northwest High School. Married to David Carl Harris on September 1, 1961, for 47 years. Jerry supported her husband at home and in the harvest field, driving a truck with children in tow. She enjoyed working at TWU as a custodian, driving a school bus, and working over 20 years at Victor Equipment in Denton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Justin, where she loved on our babies in the nursery for many, many years.

Jerry was a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as a constant friend and mentor. She enjoyed sharing her faith, sewing, caring for her friends and family, working with her fellow employees. She will be missed by many.

Jerry is survived by her children; Daughter Traci Dietzmann and husband Randy, of Justin; Daughter Bonnie Hill and husband David, of Arlington; Son David C. Harris II, of Justin; Grandchildren, Stuart, Rendon, Quirt and wife Sabrina, Vanessa, Wyatt, and Ty Dietzmann, Jamie and wife Kristina Harris, and Anna Hill; Great-grandchildren, Case Dietzmann, Kylie and Diana Harris; Sister, Patsy and husband Steve Williams, brother, Jack and wife Susie Holloway of Justin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband David C. Harris; two grandsons, Kevin Harris and Cory Hill, her parents, three brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Justin with Pastor Roger Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Justin Cemetery. There will be a family visitation on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton, TX.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Justin fire department at 310 Sealy Ave. Justin, Texas 76247.
