Jerry Lester Folsom, 65, of Denton, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at his home. He was born June 1, 1941 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Homer and Merle (Emerson) Folsom. He was married to Lois Elaine Meier on October 31, 1964 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, she died October 22, 2006. He is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, where he served in Economic Development. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps in Vietnam.

A memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, March 31,2007 in the Chapel of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae, Denton, with Fr. James Flynn, officiating.

Mr. Folsom is survived by two daughters, Peggy Barton, and husband Rick, of Fenton, MO and Deborah Mayville, of Denton, and two sons, Jerry T. Folsom, and wife Victoria, of Albuquerque, NM and Craig Folsom, of Denton, and seven Grandchildren, Merrick, Kathryn, Meghan, Andrea, Andrew, Noah, and Avery.
