Jerry Lee Chasteen age 70 of Denton passed away Monday December 31, 2007 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1937 in Cleburne , Texas to Martin and Cora ( Revere ) Chasteen. He serviced in the United States Air Force. Jerry married Shirley (Scott) in Denton on August 16, 1952. He was a carpenter and a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife Shirley. Daughters Katherine Kerbow of Gainsville, Charlotte Miller of Nocona, and Brenda Kerbow of Nocona. Son Kennie Chasteen of Denton. Mother Cora Chasteen of Corpus Christi. Sister Pat Klump of Beaumont. Brother Edger Chasteen of Kansas City , Mo. 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday January 4 2008 at Mulkey-Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Chapel. The Reverend Bernie Hollingshead will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton. Visitation will be 7 to 8 pm Thursday January 3, 2008 at the Funeral Home.

James Jones and Adam Rondeau.
