Jerry Button, 77, from Krum, TX passed away the morning of Nov 4th 2024 in Denton, TX with his beloved wife by his side.

He was born July 12th 1947 to David & Mary Button of Houston, TX and eventually moved with his family to Denton, TX

Jerry attended Denton High School. He joined the US Army in 1968. He was honorably discharged in 1973. He received many decorations & medals including; National defense service medal, Vietnam service medal with 2 bronze Svc stars, expert rifle, Vietnam campaign medal, and combat infantryman's badge.

He retired from GTE with 30 years of service & later on retired from Denton County Road & Bridge

He is survived by his wife of 46 yrs. Geraldine (Koester) Button.  They resided in Denton, TX until 2020 before they moved to Krum, TX.

Jerry is also survived by his daughter Tracy Button of Krum, TX, sons Randy Button of Krum, TX & Alan Button and wife Jamie also of Krum, TX. Three grandchildren: Baylee Button, Emmelyn Button & Cash Button. Brother, Donald Button & niece, Tina Button from Fort Worth, TX.

He's preceded in death by his parents David Button & Mary (Burrow) Button, two granddaughters, Grace Button & Chloe Button.

Visitation will be held Monday November 11, 2024 from 6pm-8pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Located at 705 N. Locust Denton, Texas 76201

Graveside Memorial will be Tuesday November 12, 2024 at 10am located at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas.
