Dr. Jennie Marie Russell Walsh, 84 wrote the last chapter in the screenplay of her life early in the Morning on August 9. During the previous day, she looked up at the corner of her room and announced, "That's my Mother and I'm going home with her". Dr. Walsh had been a resident of Selah Ridge, Denton and had been suffering from Alzheimer's for the past few years. She was a lifelong learner earning two Masters' degrees in addition to her PhD. She was a voracious reader and writer; authoring the screen plays "Weeping Mary" and "Dream Catcher". She leaves behind two sons; David (wife Nita) and Donald Bradly (wife Mary Sue), Four Grandchildren: Levi Walsh (wife Krista), Jordan Walsh, Shiloh Thornton, and Kate Walsh. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Dr. Donald E. Walsh and her brother Dennis "Reggie" Russell (wife Chris). She was lovingly cared for by Dawn Jones RN and the staff of Selah Ridge.
