Jeffrey Michael Gouge, 61, of Denton, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Medical City Hospital in Denton.

Mr. Gouge was born on July 26, 1963 at Flow Memorial Hospital in Denton to Harry Melvin and Betty (Gage) Gouge. He lived in Denton his whole life and attended all Denton schools including Calvary Academy, Congress Middle School, Denton High School, TWU Demonstration School, as well as Kemper Military School and Grayson County College. Jeffrey was ahead of his time studying computers and computer games.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Dr. Betty (Gage) Gouge Wolfenbarger of Irving; father and stepmother, Harry Melvin and Barbara (McClusky) Roden Gouge of Denton; sister, Carol (Gouge) Blanchard Parks of Dallas; stepbrother, Riley Foster Roden of Denton; nephew, Daniel Foster Roden of Denton. There are many others that Jeffrey considered family: Tara and Dana Fletcher; Maribeth Ragley; Judy Palermo; Tim and Dawn Grisham; Amy Dorn; Sherry Blake; Steve Appling and Concho Hearts Hospice and Three Oaks Hospice.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 12, 2025 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton, TX. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton, TX.
