Jean Gladness Stark Allison, 86, of Denton, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Red Bird Manor in Sanger.
Mrs. Allison was born on March 25, 1929 in Dallas to Marvin Andrew and Myrtle Mae (Aday) Stark. She was married to Glenn E. Allison on November 8, 1947 in Dallas. She retired as a Buyer for the Army-Air Force Exchange and was a member of the Rosemont Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Dallas.
She is survived by her daughter, DiAnne Allison of Denton; son, Glenn E. (Eddy) Allison of Forney; sister, Jeannene Gaston of Richardson; Marvin A. Stark, Jr. of Denton; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Rev. Jerry Don Brown will officiate the service.
