Obituary

Jarman Lane Cooper

1951-2019

Born in Sherman, Texas, Jarman moved to Greenville, Texas, where he played in the high school band and graduated high school.  He later moved to Sacramento, California and married Danalee Manners and had his first son, Jarrett. In 1979, Jarman married again, to Ginger Grundei and acquired a stepson, Juston.   He then moved to Sherman, Texas, then Garland, Texas, until business took him to Metairie, Louisiana. After living in Metairie for two years, he again returned to Texas, finally settling in Denton where he retired in 2018 and passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2019 after a very short battle with cancer.

Jarman was a lifelong businessman, primarily in the glass business, winning several company and industry awards.  The companies he worked for included Havlin-Witkin, Binswanger Glass, Cardinal Glass, YKK, and finally Complete Line Glass in Grand Prairie.  He was always keen to explore new types of business models, with customer satisfaction always being his highest priority, sometimes even to his own detriment.  A very passionate person, Jarman invested himself in everything he did; from his friendships, to his business operations, and to his family, if he couldn't invest himself with every ounce of his spirit, he didn't do it.

Jarman is survived by both of his sons, both of his spouses, both of his brothers, and his mother, Carrye.  Jarman was careful to always convey his sense of love and pride in his sons, and his love for his wife, which brings comfort to them all at this difficult time.

Jarman did not wish for a service or other formal arrangements to be made in the event of his passing.  His only wish was that people remember him with fondness and love. A wake for Jarman will be announced at a later time for the many people Jarman called friends, as well as his family.
