Janet Story Wilkinson, 73, of Corinth passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019. Jan was born in Henderson, Texas on August 10, 1945 daughter of the late Otis Story and Ollie Hinton Story. Jan was preceded in death by her brothers Earl Story and Bill Story.

Jan was married to John Wilkinson who passed away on July 23, 2016.  She is survived by one son Alan Stokes and his wife Marilyn of Round Rock, TX and three daughters; Shelli Colwell and her husband, Todd, of Grosse Ile, MI, Leslie Smetzer and her husband, John, of San Antonio, TX, and Amy Burke and her husband John of Corinth, TX.

Jan is also survived by her six grandchildren; Meagan Stokes, Jared Stokes, Matthew Smetzer, Joshua Smetzer, Danielle Colwell, and Austin Colwell.

Jan had a long, successful career in retail management and retired from The Paradies Shops Inc., a subsidiary of Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail, after working there for 18 years.

The family would like to thank Trio Hospice and the staff at The Home Place in Sanger, TX for their kind and professional service during the last few weeks of Jan's life.
